Where is it?
London Fields Brewery in Hackney, E8 3RR. Here are some photos.
Here’s a map.
If you’re travelling by tube, get off at Bethnal Green and it’s a 20 minute walk. By rail, London Fields station is just around the corner. By overground, Hackney Central is a 15 minute walk away. The 55 and 394 buses stop nearby as well.
Not for profit, you say?
Every penny raised from Hear No Evil will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support. Why Macmillan? Well, because cancer’s shit. And they help make things a lot less shit for millions of people.
In the past five years, we’ve raised over £100,000 for Macmillan by organising festivals in east London, putting on acts like Slow Club and Chris Addison.
Beer. What’s the deal?
It’s a brewery.
And if you’re asking, we’d recommend the Shoreditch Triangle IPA. Because it’s strong and delicious. Just like us.
But if that’s not your cup of tea (or beer), check out the full range of beverages on offer at the London Fields Brewery website.
What’s all this talk about comedy and stuff?
There’s a second room where we’ll have some comedy, spoken word and, if all goes to plan, beany bags.
A raffle? Hello…
Yes! With amazing prizes up for grabs including a beer tour for two to Prague or Amsterdam, a £100 Asos voucher, a £100 voucher for a photography course, hotel nights, festival tickets, gig tickets, cinema tickets, gym passes, yoga vouchers, t-shirts, wine and more!
Is there an entrance policy?
Management reserves the right to refuse admission. So you probably shouldn’t turn up off your face. And (obviously) don’t bring anything with you that you shouldn’t.
I’m under 18. Can I come?
Erm, no, sorry.
I like being noisy when I leave social occasions. That cool?
There’s no way of saying this without sounding very uncool – but please bear in mind the brewery’s neighbours when you leave. Just don’t scream profanities at full voice or anything.
Can I contact you?
Sure. Let’s get to know each other. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
